Federico started his career in the Steel Industry in Bergamo Italy in 1979. He has hold different positions in the industry including EAF Foreman, Scrap Yard Manager, Steel Plant Manager (several locations in Europe).

In 2000 Federico became the Technical Director for all the plants of the Riva Group (16MMtons/y) where he focused to improve operational performance and was also responsible for the introduction of Robotics and Automation in the Steel Industry.

In 2015, after leaving the Riva Group, Federico decided to start his own Consultancy company providing assistance to several plants in Europe, North America, Middle East and North Africa.
